Sanchez (and Rex) took the Jets to the AFC Championship his rookie and sophomore year in the NFL.
Tim Tebow took the Broncos to the playoffs last year and made the Steelers look absolutely stupid and Tebowmania took over the nation.
Yes this season for the Jets was very crazy, but they somehow managed to get 7 wins. They were in playoff contention up until their loss last night. They would also have been TIED with the Steelers had they won.
After their loss against the Titans last night, the ESPN analysts/commentators LAUGHED.
The Jets have definitely been the sports worlds scapegoat the last couple years
